In Bulgaria there is a tradition - at the beginning of March we give each other martenitzas - for health and happiness. We prepared for our Polish friends gifts - martenitzas and draw Gradmother Marta. She is the one that gives red and white martenitzas.
Bulgarian children with their mothers and grandmothers made of white and red threads martenitzas for their Polish friends. We draw Grandma Marta - let every Polish child took these gifts in his home and tell his parents about the Bulgarian tradition.
